January 6th, 2012

NOTE* comments posted on YouTube are open for the world to see. If you wish to give information anonymously through Crime Stoppers you must use one of the three methods described below. Toronto Crime Stoppers needs your help to identify those responsible for robbing two women in the city of Toronto back on Friday, January 16th, 2009 The first of these shocking incidents occurred at about 5:25pm. The 43 year-old victim was walking on Balliol Street just East of Yonge Street when the suspect ran up from behind and attempted to pull her purse from her grasp. The victim screamed to draw attention and the suspect fled into an awaiting white cargo-like van, with another male already behind the wheel, and they sped off towards Mt Pleasant. Then, approximately ½ hour later, just a short distance away on Lawton Boulevard near Oriole Gardens, a 35 victim was robbed of her purse and the suspect again ran to the awaiting van and were last seen west bound on Oriole Gardens at a high rate of speed. The suspect was described as white, about 510 tall, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was wearing a red sweater/jacket with white lettering across the back. If you know who this suspect, the other suspect driving the vehicle, or where the vehicle is, we need your help to put a stop to this now before it escalates and someone is seriously hurt. You can call Toronto Police, 53 Division, directly at 416-808-5300. If you have information and wish to remain ANONYMOUS, contact Toronto
